Staff

This section allows you to view, create and edit your Staff members.

Overview
Tabs
There are 3 tabbed sub-sections.
Staff Members (Default)
Presents a comprehensive table of all Staff currently in your system. Supports filter, search and export options.
Add new Field/Office Staff with the New Staff button.
Training
Presents a table of recently completed Training courses. Supports filter, search and export options.
Timesheet
Allows for generating a Timesheet in Excel format for all active Staff in a chosen time period.
Staff Members
Create Staff
Hit the New Staff button on the Staff Members tab to bring up the Create New Staff form.

Fields
Required fields are underlined. Undescribed fields are considered self-explanatory.
Login Username
Login Password - Note this must be at least 6 characters long.
First Name
Last Name
Team - It can be useful for scheduling purposes to group your staff under a team name, e.g. Electricians, Plumbers, etc.
Phone Number - Optional but recommended particularly for Office Staff.
E-mail Address - As above.
Photo
Notes
Pay Rates - Optional but essential if you plan to work out costing (eg, process Invoices) after the Job is complete. Set one or more pay rates for this Staff member, e.g. Standard, Overtime, Emergency Callout. The Field Staff member themselves then selects the appropriate rate when adding their worked hours to a Job. Additionally you can set the rate that is then billed to the Customer.
Admin Rights - Toggles between Field and Office Staff account type. Office Staff have full admin access as you likely do now (you wouldn't have access to this page without it!). Field Staff do not have full admin rights and have a more focused view allowing them to only view and work Jobs assigned to them.
Note that all these details can be edited later by heading to their Staff Profile page and selecting Edit.
View Staff
The table view shows all Staff currently in your system.
Click the Staff's username to take you to their Staff Profile page.
View a Staff Member's schedule by hovering over the Check button under the Schedule column on their row of the table.

Team - The team that this Staff belongs to. This is useful in the Schedule page to help group similar Staff together.
Type - Staff Type can be Field or Staff.
Active - Staff can be Active or Disabled.
Training

A table showing all Training courses that your Staff have taken part in. Defaults to showing the last 30 days but this can be changed with the Range options. Also supports filter, search and export options.
Timesheet

Pick a time range and you can then generate a timesheet for all active Staff members. This timesheet will be in the form of a single Excel spreadsheet with 1 tabbed worksheet page for each Staff member.
