Attaching Files To A Job

Here's a quick how-to on attaching documents to a Job from the office for operatives to view and edit on site.


  1. Head to the Job profile page for the Job you want to upload documents to.
  2. Go to the Notes section then the Files tab and hit the Attach File button.


  1. Your system's file picker will open for you to select a file. From there you can optionally add a description and a category to help organise these files if you plan to upload a large amount.

Any file can be uploaded but Word files and PDFs work particularly well as the field app can open them for direct viewing without having to use other apps.

Got sensitive documents? By default, any uploaded documents are available to view by field operatives but this section also allows uploading files that only office users can access. By enabling the 'Office-Only File' toggle, you can upload any commercially or financially sensitive files that you still want to keep filed directly to this Job.


  1. Done! For an assigned operative to see this file and any others for that Job they just need to go to that Job card, go to the Details tab, scroll down to the Files section and they will all be listed there for viewing/downloading.


If you ever need to remove a file or edit its details then you can always just return to the same section.
