Jobs Primer

In this article we will go over the main features and benefits of our Jobs system.


Jobs are the heart and soul of TrackTrade. A Job is how we digitally organise and operate the valuable work you need done as efficiently as possible.

As you well know, there are a lot of physical and mental resources involved in finding work, getting it done and then making sure all parties are satisfied on all fronts. Traditionally, this is done with a lot of paperwork that can be time-consuming and cumbersome. TrackTrade Jobs help to collate and digitise all of this information into one place for much easier processing.


Capture Evidence

Jobs offer multiple avenues to document the all-important evidence of work.

Visits

Many Jobs will need more than one trip to the site so you can track these with seperate Visits.

Before and After Photos

Written notes and verbal discussion are great but the old adage of a picture being worth a thousand words rings as true as ever so we allow Field Staff to pull out their phones and directly capture relevant photos easily. See the damage before work is done and then see it after, side-by-side for easy review.

Workflows

Workflows are our term for customised per-Job checklists. It could be anything from a simple checkbox reminder to take photos on site to full-on standardised safety checklists.

Signatures

One of the strongest pieces of evidence of work completed to spec is the classic signature. Get it captured and filed away on site in an instant.

Timesheet

The hours worked by all the Field Staff involved is vital so of course that can be tracked as well.

Finance

Quotes and Invoices relevant to the Job are available right there at a glance.

Work Codes

You can maintain a whole library of Work Codes within TrackTrade but you can pull through only the ones relevant to this Job to make it easier for payroll.



Highly Flexible

A Job can be simple or complex, it depends on your needs.

We designed TrackTrade for the trades world as a whole as opposed to just some specific business types so naturally our Job system can be adapted to a wide range of work.

All your existing data can be imported quickly through Excel sheets.


Export Data/Generate Reports

Export Job data at any point into different reports via PDF or Excel or straight to a printer.

Summarise Job information in an instant as easily digestible PDF reports.


The Bigger Picture

Each Job is added to your database and the Jobs table, available through the sidebar, lets you see them all at a glance. There are multiple tab views for when you need to only see Jobs that are completed or were started on a specific date. Search and filter options are also available for granular control.
