Lesson 1: Installing the TrackTrade App on Your Device

We're gonna start off by getting the app installed on your device. Unlike other apps we are currently not available through the Play Store/App Store. We will be installing TrackTrade straight to your device as a web app.


All you need for this lesson is:

  • Your Android or iOS device
  • the link to your office's TrackTrade portal

This link should be provided to you by your office manager. If you don't have this then please contact your office.

Note: The link should look like {organisation}.tracktrade.co.uk (e.g. johnsrepairs.tracktrade.co.uk).

We recommend Chrome or Safari as your web browser.


Android

  1. Open your browser and head to {organisation}.tracktrade.co.uk
Don't login just yet!

You may be tempted to just login from here but we recommend holding off and finishing the quick install process. When installed properly it will show up as an app on your home screen and will function at its best!



  1. A popup prompting you to add TrackTrade as an app to your home screen should appear. Tap it!

Note: If the popup at the bottom of the screen does not appear then tap the 3 dots menu and look for 'Add to Home Screen' and select that.


iOS

  1. Open your browser and head to {organisation}.tracktrade.co.uk
Don't login just yet!
  1. Tap the share icon at the bottom and select 'Add to Home Screen'.

TrackTrade is now installed as an app on your phone and can be selected from your home screen or app drawer!

If at any time you are prompted to give access to Location data then please accept to allow TrackTrade to function properly.
